Itsabo John Oshiomogho is a clinical and research associate of the University of Calgary and is a member of the University of Calgary Gastrointestinal and Liver unit. He was born in Nigeria where he completed his basic medical degree at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital and went on to attain a master’s degree in Health Policy from the Heller School of Social policy at Brandeis University in Massachusetts, USA. Since 2009 he has worked extensively in clinical research, first at Massachusetts General Hospital and then University of Calgary starting in 2012.
Itsabo is a certified Fibroscan technician and has extensive experience performing Fibroscan procedures as well as other related clinical procedures. He enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team with the ultimate goal of providing excellent care to patients affected by gastrointestinal and liver-related conditions, while at the same time contributing to clinical research that improves treatments for patients impacted by gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
